The Company has special expertise in the field of safety management of marine operations, specialising in Navigational (Bridge Procedures) Assessments, Cargo Operations and Marine Safety Assessments all based on industry best practice.
These assessments break from traditional inspections which concentrate on ‘hardware’ quality and instead, use a risk-based approach, based on industry best practice and include the assessment of human factors and the facilitation of a compliance culture. Our Consultants interact with ship’s staff and shore management to facilitate Teamwork and an environment for Compliance with procedures.
Our Consultants and Associate Consultants are all qualified to British Class 1 Deck or Engineer standard and have substantial sea-going and surveying / consultancy experience in a wide range of vessel types.
The Company has a special relationship with Marine and Risk Consultants Ltd (MARICO Marine) whereby Consultancy services are exchanged on a reciprocal basis. This gives both companies the benefit of additional skill-base and resources.
